Founder and CEO, Little Black Book
Suchita Salwan is the Founder & CEO of Little Black Book (www.lbb.in), a local discoveries & recommendations platform to share and find things to do. Every day, over 100,000 people in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore discover unique and new things to do in their city on Little Black Book, and the platform currently has a reach of over 1.5 million users across its website & app. The platform sees some of the biggest brands in the world- including Airbnb, Samsung, Pepsi, Coca-Cola, Nestle- and a plethora of local brands connect and engage with a local audience. Given their cracking growth, they’ve raised a seed round from Rajan Anandan (MD of Google Asia), Sachin Bhatia (co-founder of MakeMyTrip), followed by a Pre-Series A round from IDG Ventures and IAN. The coming year will see them expand LBB to cities in India and world-wide.
Suchita has graduated from Delhi University with a degree in Economics, after which she worked with Wizcraft and the BBC. Her forte and domain interest lies in Marketing, Social Media, Brand Building and Sales. She started Little Black Book as a platform for young, urban audiences to access the best things that were happening in their city- across interests and locations. Today, she runs LBB with her co-founder Dhruv Mathur and over 60 colleagues.
