Aakash Goel is a partner at Trifecta Capital, India’s leading venture debt fund and has 14 years of experience across venture investing, mentoring entrepreneurs and management consulting.
Aakash has deep experience in venture investing across early and growth stages and has helped deploy ~$250 million with Bessemer Venture Partners and Sequoia Capital across Consumer Internet, Payments, Tech-led/enabled financial services and healthcare.
Just prior to Trifecta, Aakash was a Principal with Bessemer Venture Partners and closely involved as a board member with the firm’s investments in Urbanclap, BigBasket, LivSpace, Perfios, Cashify, Home First Finance, Innoviti, Pharmeasy and MediAssist. Before Bessemer, he was an Associate at Sequoia Capital and helped the firm invest in JustDial, Pine Labs, Citrus Payments, Mobikwik and UnitedLex.
Previously, he worked at McKinsey & Company, serving clients in the technology, outsourcing, and financial services sectors on issues related to business scale-up/growth, market-entry/strategy, operations transformation, post-merger integration/turn-around, and Capex/Opex right-sizing.
Aakash holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta and a B.S. from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee and was a college merit scholarship holder at both institutes. He is a private pilot and a trekking enthusiast.
