Amar Kumar is the Head of Product Management at Pearson Online & Blended Learning. In this role, he oversees strategy and planning for technology, curriculum, and services. Prior to this role, Amar was Pearson’s global head of Efficacy & Research. This function is helping Pearson transform from a publisher into an education company. Amar also leads two of Pearson’s investments in low-cost school in India as part of the Pearson Affordable Learning Fund (PALF).
Prior to Pearson, Amar worked at McKinsey and was a teacher and principal at a school in Bangalore, India. Amar holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelors in Computer Science from Purdue University.
