Venkatesh Kini started his entrepreneurial journey in 2017 after a successful 30-year corporate career in marketing & general management in India and in the USA. His most recent role was President of Coca-Cola India and Southwest Asia, prior to which he held positions of increasing responsibility in his 19-year stint with The Coca-Cola Company.
He has led many successful Indian and Global brand launches and iconic marketing campaigns. Under his leadership, Sprite & Thums Up became India’s largest brands, not only in beverages but across industries. He launched Minute Maid in India and scaled it across over 50 countries to become a multibillion-dollar global brand. Prior to Coca-Cola, he worked for ITC & Asian Paints, two of India’s most respected companies.
He has held leadership positions in CII & Amcham India and is currently a Charter Member of TiE, the largest entrepreneurial organization in the world. He is based in Atlanta where, in addition to working in the social entrepreneurship space, he is an angel investor, mentor to startups and an active environmentalist.
